Water Safety

EuroHygiene offers a wide variety of water testing services.
We offer standard on site testing of water sources and supplies, and can give immediate results for a wide variety of tests.
Within 24 hours we can confirm whether supplies and sources are contaminated with a variety of bacteria, with subsequent confirmation of the level of contamination.
Additionally we offer a unique service of Cryptosporidium presence analysis. We have developed a high specification sampling unit which can sample large volumes of water in a reasonably short period of time. In many instances, guests and customers need never know that sampling is being undertaken.
Using our bespoke sampling equipment, we also can obtain results of analysis within 48 hours. This is a great improvement on standard analysis methods, when full analysis may take up to 10 days.
EuroHygiene also offers a Swimming Pool risk assessment service. We will assess your pool for general risk, specific site risk, risk to employees and also assess levels of contamination within the pool, as well as reviewing the effectiveness of pool management. We will also assist you in the development of an effective pool management control programme where this does not presently exist.
We also provide Water Analysis, Monitoring and Advice services to provide you with a comprehensive range of tests to verify that your water is safe.
All water samples taken are analysed at a UKAS registered laboratory, and the results are presented back to you with a Summary of any remedial action that you need to take if the test is out of specification.
The types of tests conducted are:
Legionella analysis
To adhere to the A.C.o.P L8 advice to operators of commercial buildings that contain water services to “maintain a clean system”, this routine monitoring of any system enables you to create support evidence that you are in control of your building’s risk against Legionella.
TVC Analysis, looking for pathogenic bacteria based on colony count per litre
Tank and surface swabs
HSE's ACOP L8 advises operators of commercial buildings that contain water services to ensure that you “maintain a clean system”. By regular inspection and strategic monitoring by tank swab this can be achieved.
Drinking water
Colony counts and coliforms including e-coli.
Swimming pool, therapy pool and jacuzzi
The Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group advises pool operators on how to treat pools, including taking monthly pool samples to be tested for colony counts, coliforms and pseudomonads.
Swimming pool water
To test pH, free and total chlorine, hardness and alkalinity
Additionally we can supply all types of equipment for accurate testing of water sources, supplies and stores so thta you are able to more effectively monitor your own water system.
